Growing Like Weeds

Posted by Brenda Hedden on Tuesday, September 6, 2016
They are growing up so fast.  My husband, daughter and I are continuously saying that we have not seen a litter like this one.  They are calmer and quieter.  They don't whine and bark for food.....EVER.  They are quiet when they see us in the morning, but greet us and want to play. They just are not as vocal and appear much calmer.  That is fine with me.....
All are doing well.  I have gotten reluctant to say much about them specifically any more, as most of you cannot see them and every word I say becomes their "personality" rather than just a quick observation that day.

If I am in the pen, all 11 are all over me.  Not a single one tends to wander off or not want to play, unless they are sound asleep.  They are now developing personalities, but change day by day.  White and Red are always in my lap or on my side. Red is so much fun and resilient.  He plays calmly but can go and go and go.  I LOVE his face.  White is really in tune with me.  He is very observant and takes in everything I do.  I am really enjoying him.  Blue loves my toes and will chew on them.  Yellow is a bit mellower this week than Purple, but next week may bring a change. Both love to be held, initiate play, but Purple tends to run around more and will often be seen grabbing the tail of a sibling.  Yellow and purple love to lay on their back and loved two little girls that came over yesterday.  Sable has personality plus.  He will play with me personally and loves to interact.  I awakened him for pictures tonight and he just goes with the flow, while Black walked away from me to sleep.  Black was quiet all weekend, so I picked him up and he just melted in to me for about 15 minutes without moving.  He loves to be held and likes to lay behind the kennel as he like is quieter.  Pink is social, playful and last week was a handful, but this week is calmer.  Grey and Orange are lap dogs and can also lay on my lap for hours.  Grey let me groom his yesterday and was the calmest in my arms as I brushed him.  Lime has just blossomed this week and her personality coming out.  She plays with her siblings but has always slept alone when she was worn out.  This weekend, she just played with everyone, loved chewing on my fingers and would not get off my lap.  I took dozens of pictures of her as she was being so cute.
